Modernisation of BOGDANKA coal mine

Mostostal Warszawa, together with Acciona Infraestructuras, has extended one of the most modern and largest coal mines in Poland, Bogdanka. The value of the contract was PLN 227.85 million excluding taxes.

The contract evisaged that the consortium prepares a turnkey investment. Comprehensive work includes: preparation of execution designs, construction of facilities, supply of equipment and devices, assembly at the construction site, commissioning of machines and devices and procurement of a utility permit. Thanks to the extension, the Mechanical Coal Processing Plant will increase its capacity from 1,200 Mg/h to 2,400 Mg/h.
