Construction of biomass feeding system to the boiler no. 2 in PGE Elektrownia Opole SA

This projects examples new generation of biomass feeeding systems. It will allow to produce energy in Opole Power Plant from renewable sources. Prepared (milled) biomass is fed directly to the furnace chamber of the boiler using special burners. The fuel will be agro pellets.

The system will consist of warehouse management which will permit to store biomass and shredding equipment. The scope of works will encompass also burners installations of boiler K-2 and power system which will allow burning biomass with carbon dust.
